Joyful Anne of Green Gables

I love this excerpt from Anne in the book Anne of Green Gables by LM Montgomery:

'Anne blew a couple of airy kisses from her finger tips past the cherry blossoms and then, with her chin in her hands, drifted luxuriously out on a sea of day-dreams. "I'm just dazzled inside, I want to say a hundred things and I can't find the words to say them in."'

The joy and delight of life's simplest pleasures are forgotten in the mundane moments. That childish delight is within us, it's just mostly buried, untapped or seems lost. Behold a flower for all its beauty and you can start to thrill in its colours, fragrance, structure and place on Earth. Just be with it in a glorious moment in space and time and you may start to feel the pleasure welling up inside.
